Arigato (Thanks)!

Hello friends!  Today, I am sharing a sweet card that I created for the February Artful Angel Instagram Hop!

Did you know that Artful Angel carries The Greeting Farm stamps in the shop?  They are some of my absolute faves, so I was so excited to get to use the darling Anya in Japan stamp set.

I colored Anya using Copic markers and added some white accents with a gel pen before cutting her out.

I also colored up a few of the cherry blossom branches, the origami bird and dragonfly before cutting them out.

I used the Stitched Scalloped Borders Dies from Kat Scrappiness and die-cut several panels from solid card stock and digital papers.  I layered everything up, stamped the sentiment and created a banner and added a loopy bow behind the origami bird.

This was a really fun card to create!  Truthfully, any time I get to use The Greeting Farm stamps is a happy day!  I hope you will join us over on Instagram for a fun hop with the rest of the Design Team!
Thanks so much for stopping by!

Cowgirl Love!

Happy Friday, friends!  Today, I am sharing a card that I had SO much fun creating!  I recently hosted a Mystery Craft Along with some of my favorite friends, and I taught them a variation on the Twisted Ribbon Technique.  I had so much fun with it, that I wanted to try it with washi tape rather than paper, and this time I used the traditional technique.

I love the Glitter Washi Tapes so much, so I decided to pair the Black and Hot Pink to create the Twisted Ribbon Panel.  I die-cut a black and pink banner and paired it with this adorable cowgirl image (colored with Copic markers) from The Greeting Farm that I received at Jennifer Dove's Boot Camp.

I die-cut the sentiment from a die in my stash and adhered it to the card front.  To complete my card, I added a silver metallic bow to the hot pink paper flower, and then added one of the beautiful new Rose Brads.

I hope you love this card too!

Coffee, anyone?

Hi friends!  I hope that you are having an amazing week!  I am so thankful it is Friday. Phew!  Wasn't sure I was going to make it....

Today, I am sharing this super fun gift card holder that I created to showcase the sweet Brew It Anya stamp from The Greeting Farm!   I seriously had SO much fun creating it.

I colored Anya with Copic markers (colors listed below), cut her out and set her aside.   Ages ago, I purchased the Coffee Cup Gift Card Holder Honey Cuts from Honey Bee Stamps and I had never used it, so I thought it would be the perfect opportunity to give it a go.

This die set was so incredibly easy to put together. I die-cut the holder using 80# white card stock.  I had tried with 110# and I found it was a bit too thick once the layers were added for it to close properly.  I die-cut the outer layers from Stampin' Up Butterfly Bijou DSP.  It coordinated with Anya's outfit so well! Using the die for the coffee sleeve, I cut it out of kraft card stock and I heat embossed the "enjoy" sentiment from the Celebrate and Enjoy stamp set.   I drew the stitching on the sleeve using a white gelly roll pen.  Once I had all of the elements ready, I adhered Anya to the sleeve so that she would hold the coffee cup lid flat.

The Greeting Farm - Donut Worry

Hi friends!  I am popping in to share a card that I made for fun!  When I saw the Donut Worry stamp set from The Greeting Farm, I knew I had to have a play.  I mean, this girl loves donuts!  Don't you?

I colored the images with Copic markers (colors listed below), cut them out and set them aside.  I wanted to create a fun, cheerful card to send to a friend, so I decided to go with the bright pink, black and white.
I created lots of layers with my paper and stamped the sentiment on the right side of the white panel.
I adhered the main image using liquid adhesive, and then I used foam squares on the smaller images to create some dimension.  To finish it off, I added a bow using some Stampin' Up Bakers Twine.
