Friends are Flowers

Hello friends!  It's Saturday, and that means that we have a brand new Anything Goes Challenge in full swing over on the Polkadoodles Blog.  This week, the Design Team was challenged to create a friendship themed project using flowers and autumn colors, so I decided to create a tag. 

I was dying to play with the Magic Garden Soup collection, and they were perfect to crate my tag with.  I printed up one of the tags and numerous elements from the collection and cut them out.  

Using Antique Linen Distress Ink, I inked up the edges of all of my elements and I also used a script background stamp randomly on the tag.  

I layered my elements and adhered them to the tag and finished by adding some ribbon.

Bella Bear Easter Bonnet - Polkadoodles Anything Goes Challenge - Week 13

 Hi crafty friends!  Time for another Anything Goes Challenge on the Polkadoodles blog!   This week the Design Team was asked to make something for Easter using animals, so decided to work with the darling Bella Bear Easter Bonnet digi stamp. 

I decided that I would do something different and create a tag - something I rarely, if ever, do.  I don't know why, as this was a TON of fun to create!  

I cut two tags from my Scan 'n Cut - one from kraft cardstock and one from a digi paper from the gorgeous Eden collection.  Using a vellum doily as a stencil with Spun Sugar Distress Ink, I ink blended over the doily to add some dimension to the tag.  I then added Vintage Photo Distress Ink directly to the edges of the doily and then adhered it to the tag.  I also used some pre-colored embellishments and a sentiment from the Winnie Sugar Sprinkles Springtime Collection.
