A Traditional Season's Greeting

Hi friends!  Question for you - Are you a fan of traditional holiday cards, or do you prefer non-traditional themes?  I absolutely love traditional holiday cards and decorations!  I am  over on the Eyelet Outlet blog today sharing this beautiful traditional Christmas card. 

When I saw the Cardinal (and Female Cardinal) Brads, I knew that I wanted to pair them with some beautiful greenery and cones.  I thought that they would be the perfect embellishment to dress up my card.

I roughed up the edges of my printed paper with a distressing tool, layered it on red cardstock and adhered it to my card base.  I arranged the winter foliage around my circles and then tucked the sentiment tag under the foliage.  I added the Cardinal Brads and then finished up with a metallic red bow and Red Glitter Enamel Dots

PPC&F - Catherine Pooler - Pinecone Greetings

  Hello friends!  I am so excited that Catherine Pooler is our sponsor this week over at Passionate Paper Creations and Friends!  This is the second card that I created using her amazing products!

PPC&F - Catherine Pooler - Scatter Sunshine

 Hello friends!  I am so excited that Catherine Pooler is our sponsor this week over at Passionate Paper Creations and Friends!  I have never worked with Catherine Pooler products, so I might have been a little crazy when I went shopping.  It was totally worth it, though! 

For my first project, I used the Scatter Sunshine stamp set to create this bright and cheerful card!  When I saw this stamp set in the shop, I just couldn't pass it up.  I am dreaming of sunny days right now (I don't think our area is ever going to dry out) and this stamp set has everything I love - lots of different sunshine images and GORGEOUS hand lettered sentiments. 

I paired this stamp set with a die-cut rainbow, using the Lawn Fawn Stitched Rainbow Dies, added some Dew Drops from Honey Bee Stamps and voila!  I am ready to send some sunshine to someone in need!
