A Yawn is a Silent Scream for Coffee!

Hello friends!  Today, I am sharing another card that I created for the Kat Scrappiness Perk Up Release and also for a coffee-themed card swap that I participated in.

This release is full of anything and everything a coffee lover could ask for, so it was right up my alley!  I started with a base of brown heavyweight cardstock and a panel of metallic copper card stock.
I did something that I have never done before. I stenciled over patterned paper, and I love the result.
I used the Coffee Splatter 6 x 6 Stencil with Walnut Stain Distress Ink over the coffee bean page from the Cuppa Love 6 x 8 Paper Pad.  I love how it looks like I actually spilled my coffee on the card.
I stamped the coffee pot from the Perk Up Stamp Set in Walnut Stain Distress Ink and embossed the sentiment using Dino Dust Embossing Powder from Kindred Stamps.   I then die-cut the image using the coordinating Perk Up Dies.
Lastly, I wrapped the card panels in bronze metallic thread, tied a loopy bow and popped the coffee pot up on foam squares.   I hope that my swap partner loves the card as much as I do!  It was tons of fun to create!
Thanks so much for stopping by!  I would love it if you would leave me a comment telling me if you are Team Coffee or Team Tea!

Sip Happens!

Hi friends!  I am just popping in to share this fun shaker card that I made for the Kat Scrappiness Perk Up Release.  This release is perfect for coffee lovers like myself!

Using the Cuppa Love Shaker Dies, I die-cut my shaker elements - the top layer was cut from the Cuppa Love 6 x 6 Paper Pack and I cut the background from holographic paper that I had in my stash, along with a spoon from the holographic paper.  I filled the shaker with some chunky glitter and the Coffee to Go Sprinkles and I set it aside.
I layered several card panels together and wrapped them with irridescent white embroidery thread.  I adhered the spoon and my shaker to the card front.  I embossed the sentiment from the Perk Up Stamp Set and die-cut it using the coordinating dies. Lastly, I added a loopy bow.
I hope that you love this card as much as I do!  Please head over to the shop and check out all of the amazing goodness!
Thanks for stopping by!

Kat Scrappiness Perk Up Hop

Hi friends!  Have you seen the latest release from Kat Scrappiness yet?  If you are a coffee lover like me, you will NOT want to miss the Perk Up! Release.    We are celebrating the release with an Instagram Hop with a $25 prize up for grabs!

This release is chockers full of the most amazing papers, stamps and dies celebrating coffee!  It makes my heart so happy.  I created this very simple, yet beautiful card for the hop.

I started with a brown card base, and added a teal panel, followed by my absolute favorite paper from the Perk Up 6 x 8 Paper Pad

I wrapped all of the layers with some champagne metallic embroidery thread and added a very loopy bow.   I used the Layered Got Coffee Word Die and adhered it to the front of my card.  Lastly, I added some Chocolate Jewels to add a little bit of bling.
I am absolutely in love with this card.  How about you?
Make sure to head over to Instagram and join in on the hop!  You might win a $25 voucher to the Kat Scrappiness shop

Thanks so much for stopping by today!
