Hello friends! Today, I am sharing another card that I created for the Kat Scrappiness Perk Up Release and also for a coffee-themed card swap that I participated in.
This release is full of anything and everything a coffee lover could ask for, so it was right up my alley! I started with a base of brown heavyweight cardstock and a panel of metallic copper card stock.
I did something that I have never done before. I stenciled over patterned paper, and I love the result.
I used the Coffee Splatter 6 x 6 Stencil with Walnut Stain Distress Ink over the coffee bean page from the Cuppa Love 6 x 8 Paper Pad. I love how it looks like I actually spilled my coffee on the card.
I stamped the coffee pot from the Perk Up Stamp Set in Walnut Stain Distress Ink and embossed the sentiment using Dino Dust Embossing Powder from Kindred Stamps. I then die-cut the image using the coordinating Perk Up Dies.
Lastly, I wrapped the card panels in bronze metallic thread, tied a loopy bow and popped the coffee pot up on foam squares. I hope that my swap partner loves the card as much as I do! It was tons of fun to create!
Thanks so much for stopping by! I would love it if you would leave me a comment telling me if you are Team Coffee or Team Tea!
Xoxo, Kim
