I Only Have Eyes for You!

Hi friends!  Today, I am sharing a fun project that I created for the latest Artful Angel release.

A good friend of mine has a corgi, Pebbles, who is a true diva!  They moved away not too long ago, and I miss Pebbles, as much as I miss Kim.  When I saw the Woof You stamp set, I knew I had to make a card for her.

Corgi butts are one of the cutest things ever, so I had to color up this cute little ball of fluff with my Copics.  I paired my little friend with one of the sketches from Kendra's Card Challenge (KCC#8) and one of my favorite paper pads from Doodlebug.
I used one of the sentiments from the Big Love stamp set, and added a loppy bow with a paper flower.  The best part of the card is that it is a wobbler, so the floofy Corgi butt wiggles, just like in real life!

I can't wait to send this to her.  She will lose her mind!  Make sure to head over to the shop and check out all of the amazing stamps in the latest release!
Thanks so much for stopping by!

You're Pawsome!

Hi friends!  Happy Monday and Happy Halloween! I hope that you had an amazing weekend and that your week is off to a good start.  Today, I am sharing the last card that I made to celebrate the Kat Scrappiness Pawsome Dog Re-Release.

I started by selecting a patterned paper from the Pawsome Girl 6 x 8 Paper Pad so that I could choose my cardstock colors to coordinate. I used a sandpaper block to rough up the edges of the paper and then added some Walnut Stain Distress Ink.

Using the In the Dog House Dies, I created a doghouse and food and water dishes.  I also die-cut several grass pieces and the little poop pile.  (Yes, that is my FAVORITE die!)
I used the Build a Pawsome Dog Dies to create this adorable pupper!  Before building my elements, I used Distress Ink to add some depth to them.  I used a white Posca Paint Pen to add polka dots to the dishes, draw a heart on th ebone, and add freckles to the puppy face.  I also used a black pen to draw in the eyes, nose, and mouth.  I arranged my elements on the card front and adhered them.
I stamped the sentiment from the Pawsome Dogs Sentiments stamp set in Walnut Stain Distress Ink, trimmed the panel and backed it with pink cardstock.  Lastly, I added some White AB Glass Bubbles to the front of the card.
Make sure to check out this amazing release!  It makes my dog mama heart so happy!
Thank you so much for spending a few minutes of your day with me!

Hello From A Furry Friend!

Happy Sunday, friends!  I hope that your weekend has been amazing! Today I am super excited to share one of the cards that I created for the Pawsome Dogs Re-Release from Kat Scrappiness!   I am 100% in love with this card!

I started by using the In the Doghouse Dies to die-cut the pieces for the fire hydrant, food and water dishes, and the grass.  I then inked each of the pieces up with Distress Inks to add some depth to them before putting each item together.  Once I was happy with them, I set them aside.
I colored up this adorable little lazy dog from the Pawsome Dogs Stamp Set and cut it out with the coordinating dies
To create the background, I die-cut a piece of white and gray card stock using the Stitched Nesting Dome Dies.  I stenciled clouds all over the white piece and I tore the gray piece to give the illusion of uneven ground.  I inked the gray cardstock up and adhered it to the top of the white dome.  I then made a dome-shaped frame using two of the nesting dies and adhered it over the background.
I layered a piece of paw print paper from the Pawsome Boy 6 x 8 Paper Pad over a piece of red card stock after inking the edges of both with Walnut Stain Distress Ink and adhered it to the card base.  I added the dome element to the card front before arranging and adhering the images.  I used the Simple Sentiments Stamp and Die Bundle for the "Hello Friend" sentiment, which I backed with a piece of red cardstock.  Lastly, I added some of the beautiful Almandine Garnet Rhinestone Mix to the front of the card for a bit of bling.
I hope you love this card as much as I do!  It was a ridiculous amount of fun to create, and I am so pleased with the results!
Thank you so much for stopping by and spending a few minutes of your day with me!  I would LOVE to know - are you Team Woof or Team Meow?
