Be Pawsitive!

Hi friends!  Today I am sharing another card that I created for the Kat's Meow Release from Kat Scrappiness.  I seriously love this release!   It is also perfect for the 2022 Cat Lover's Hop, which if you haven't checked it out, it is a TON of fun!  There are some amazing projects being shared and some super cool giveaways!

For my card, I colored this adorable kitty and his accessories from the Pawsome Cats Stamp Set with Copics (listed below), cut them out using the coordinating dies, and set them aside.

I paired a few of the patterned papers from The Kat's Meow 6 x 6 Paper Pad and some glitter washi tape to create a "chair rail" effect.  I used the Stitched Nesting Hexagon Dies to create a background for my furry friend and arranged him and his treats on top.  I really love how versatile the hexagon dies are!  You can create frames using two of the dies or create a panel using one die.
I heat embossed the sentiment from the Pawsome Cat Sentiments Stamp Set and used the coordinating dies to cut it out.  To complete my card, I layered the sentiment over a loopy bow of metallic baker's twine using foam dots.
Colors Used:
Stripes - N10, N8, N6, N4
Body/Milk Carton/Fish - C3, C2, C0
Yarn/Milk Label - R85, R83, R81, RV00
I had a lot of fun creating this card!  I hope you have been inspired to do something crafty today!
Thanks so much for stopping by!

If Cat's Could Talk..... They Wouldn't!

Hi friends!  Today, I am taking part in the 2022 Cat Lover's Blog HopKat Scrappiness is one of the sponsors, so I used items from the brand new Kat's Meow release to create a fun card.

I created a background using the Fish Bones 6 x 6 Stencil on Bristol Smooth cardstock and layered it up on lilac cardstock and set it aside.

I colored up the snobby cat image and a food and water dish from the Pawsome Cat Stamp Set using Copic Markers (listed below), die-cut them using the coordinating Pawsome Cat Dies, and set them aside.  I stamped one of the sentiments from the Pawsome Cat Sentiment Stamp Set and created a banner.  I added some tangled metallic silver thread and layered my elements over the top of it.  Lastly, I added some White AB Glass Bubbles.
Colors Used:
Cat - E09, E99, E97, C1, C0
Collar - V09, V06, V05, Y28, Y26
Food Bowl - BV08, BV13, BV02, BV00, E18, E15
Water Bowl - BG18, BG15, BG13, BG11, BG10, B14, B12, B00, B000

So Much Goodness, So Little Time!

Hi friends!  Have you seen the new Kat Scrappiness Kat's Meow and Pawsome Dog Add-Ons Releases yet?  If you haven't, you NEED to!   They are a pet lover's dream!  We are celebrating with an Instagram Hop that you will not want to miss!  It is full of amazing inspiration from the Design Team and there is a $25 gift certificate to the Kat Scrappiness shop up for grabs.

I created two cards for the hop and have been dying to share them with you!  The first is an easel card that stands up on its own but folds flat for mailing.  I colored this adorable cat from the Pawsome Cats Stamp Set with Copic markers (listed below) and used the coordinating Pawsome Cats Dies

My sweet kitty, Stanley (or Stan Lee as my husband calls him), is a big fluff ball that will squish himself into any box that is available.  Size doesn't matter, if you ask him!  When I saw this sentiment from the Pawsome Cats Sentiments Stamp Set, I knew I HAD to make a box for my Stanley cat to sit in.
Here is the inspiration for my card.  I sure do love this guy!
I cut out the box on my Cricut and I cut a slit in the top of it with a kraft knife, tangled some crochet thread around Stanley, and slid him into the box and adhered with glue.   To create the card, I paired some of the sweet kitty themed papers from the Kat's Meow 6 x 6 Paper Pad and finished the card by adding some Fish Bone Sprinkles to the card front.
My next card is one that I hope I never have to send, but I am so happy to have this beautiful set in case I need it.   By now, you know that I am an animal lover!  Sadly, when our animals leave us, they leave such a huge hole in our hearts.
I stamped a few of the images from the Rainbow Bridge Stamp Set and die-cut them using the coordinating Rainbow Bridge Dies. I colored the bridge with Copic markers (listed below) and set them aside.
\I used the A2 Quilted Backdrop Die to create my background.  I embossed the sentiment from the Rainbow Bridge Stamp Set in black and created a banner.   I adhered all of the elements to the card front and finished the card by adding some Clear AB Glass Bubbles
Colors Used:
Kitty Card -
Cat - E33, Y38, Y35, Y32
Stripes - E35, Y38, Y35, Y32
White Gelly Roll Pen

What Part of Meow Don't You Understand?

Hi lovelies!  I hope that you have had an amazing week and are ready to jump into the weekend!  I sure am!  I am over on the Eyelet Outlet Blog today sharing a fun, snarky card that I created!  Have you ever needed the perfect card to send to a cat-loving friend?

When I saw the Kitten Clear Stamps, I knew I had to make a card to send to my dad!  Grady, his cat, is a total princess!  (I adore her by the way.)  She totally rules his house, so I thought this was fitting.
I heat embossed this fun sentiment in white on black card stock and die-cut it using the Hero Arts Infinity Oval Dies.  I also cut a white oval using the next size up.  Before adhering them together, I punched some small holes in the panel and added some kitten brads.  How cute are they?
I layered up some black and white card stock, including a panel that I dry embossed using an old Sizzix 3-D Embossing Folder that I had in my stash.  I popped my ovals up on foam dots, added a bow made from black and white bakers' twine, and some black sequins.
