Winnie Lovely Boquet - Polkadoodles Craft Challenge Week 11

 Hello friends!  The Polkadoodles Anything Goes Craft Challenge has moved to Saturdays, and I am so excited to share my project for this week's challenge.  The Design Team was asked to create some Mother's Day Inspiration using a sketch.  

I had a ton of fun creating this fancy fold (I have no idea what kind of fold it is) card.  I have to be honest with you, though.  When I selected my digital stamp for this project, I accidentally purchased the pre-colored image, rather than the black and white.  At first, I panicked, but I decided to try something different and use the pre-colored image, rather than the black and white.  Oh, my goodness!  What a great way to speed up the creative process.  

I struggled a bit with this sketch, but when it finally came together, I was thrilled with the results! 

For my card, I used the pre-colored Winnie Lovely Boquet digital stamp.  I started with a card base of 5 1/2" x 11" and I scored the card at 2 3/4" and 8 1/4" and folded the flaps in to the center.  I layered several of the beautiful digital papers from the Eden Collection to the front card flaps.  I adhered a panel to the left side (ONLY) of the card base.  Make sure not to adhere to the right side or your card won't open (don't ask me how I know this!  😁).  I then decorated the front panel by adding the pre-colored digi, some flowers and a bow.  Lastly, I added my embossed sentiments, again careful not to adhere them down to the card base. 

While this card was not quick and easy to make, using the pre-colored digi saved a good bit of time, and was a fun change of pace!
