PPC&F - Sweet Sentiment Stamps - Carnivores

 Hello friends!   I am so excited to share a card that I created to celebrate the fact that Sweet Sentiment Stamps is sponsoring us over at Passionate Paper Creations & Friends!  If you haven't checked out their shop, you really need to!  

I had more fun than I can admit coloring this cute T-Rex with my Copic markers (colors listed below)!  We are also in the process of re-watching the Jurassic Park films in preparation for the new movie, so this seemed incredibly timely!  

I paired him with some digital papers that I picked up on Etsy.  I inked up the edges of all of my papers with some Vintage Photo Distress Oxide Ink, and added some baker's twine that I found in the old secretary that I inherited from my grandmother.... I honestly have no idea how old this twine is, but it worked perfectly! I really love how this card came together!

Artful Angel DT - Sweet Sentiment - Earth Goddess

 Good morning, lovelies!  Happy Monday!  I have never liked Mondays, but this month, Mondays have been good to me, as it is the day that I get to share my projects for Artful Angel! Today, my card is a bit different from my usual and I am so excited, as I was able to step out of my comfort zone and I think the results are beautiful! 

For my project this week, I used the Earth Goddess stamp set from Sweet Sentiment.  This image was so much fun to color up and it was a huge challenge for me, as it incorporates all of the elements that I struggle with, especially clothing and hair!

I was really excited to use the Sweet Sentiment Manly Mandala Stencil for this card.  It might be called "manly," and it will be fabulous for masculine cards; however, I think that it is incredibly versatile, and I just love how it really fit the "earthy" theme of this card!   Using Distress Oxide Inks (colors listed below), I stenciled the image onto a panel of Ranger Distress White Heavystock.  This paper is MAGIC for ink blending!  I spritzed some water over my stenciled panel, let it sit for a few minutes and then patted it with a paper towel to add a little bit of texture to the ink blending. 

I heat embossed the sentiment in silver detail embossing powder and adhered it to a piece of navy cardstock. I also adhered a silver panel to my navy card base and then the stenciled panel to that.  I randomly wound some silver metallic thread and adhered it to the panel with a mini glue dot and I adhered my sentiment piece in the upper corner.  Lastly, I popped the Earth Goddess up on foam dots.

PPC&F - Elephants & Unicorns by Sweet Sentiment

Hello, my crafty friends!  I am so incredibly excited to share that I have joined the Passionate Paper Creations & Friends Design Team.
