Hi friends! It's Saturday and that means it is time for another Anything Goes Challenge over at Polkadoodles! This week, the Design Team was asked to create a birthday card with a different fold.
I have been DYING to use the Little Monsters Collection and this was the perfect opportunity to make a birthday card for a little boy! I seriously had WAY too much fun making this card that has a surprise inside!
I created a Z-Fold Card and decorated the panels with some of the digital papers from the collection. I don't know about you, but I LOVE the cheery, bright colors!
Initially I had a framed white circle on the inside of the card, and my BFF had the brilliant idea to have a mirror in there so that the little monster could see themselves when they opened the card. I wasnt sure if I could pull that off, but of course I managed to find mirror paper on Amazon.
I decorated the inside panel by die-cutting a scalloped circle from card stock, and a stitched circle from mirrored paper, using the CC Designs Circle Dies. I used the same circle dies for the front panel. I used the pre-colored digital stamps because they are perfect as is. I arranged them on both the front and inside panels. To finish up my card, I added my sentiment strips.
