Spooky Boo to You!

Hello friends!  Today, I am over on the Kat Scrappiness Blog sharing my first post as part of the amazing Creative Crew!

I had so much fun creating this Halloween card using some of the amazing new products in the shop.   The best part?  There was absolutely NO stamping involved!

Did I mention that I didn't do any stamping?  I started with a shimmery black card base and added some orange cardstock, which coordinated perfectly with the fun patterned papers in the Creepy & Kooky 6 x 6 Paper Pad.
Before layering up my papers, I inked the edges up using Distress Ink and after adhering the layers, wrapped them with orange and purple crochet thread. I added some hexagonal frames that I made using the Stitched Nested Hexagon Dies.  I cut one of the frames open so that I could link them all together and adhere them to the card front.  I die-cut the sentiment using the Spooky Boo Word Die and popped it up with foam dots.  Lastly, I scattered some of the sequins from the Boo-Who Sequin Mix and added a bow from the remaining crochet thread.
This card was pretty easy to bring together and I love how bright and funky it is!
Make sure to head over to the Kat Scrappiness Blog and check out all of the DT inspiration and then head over to the shop and load up on all of the crafty goodies!
Thanks so much for spending part of your day with me!
Xoxo, Kim
