Hi crafty friends! I had so much fun creating this Angled Gate-Fold Card using the new Bubble Tea Buddies set from Artful Angel!
When I first saw this stamp set, I knew that I needed to learn to color bubbles so that I could do something fun! My first few bubbles weren't pretty, but coloring them is pretty addictive, so I kept practicing. Mindy Baxter (@mycreativescoop) has an amazing tutorial available on her website.
To create my card, I started by stamping the image, coloring it with Copics (colors listed below), cutting it out and setting it aside. I randomly stamped the same image on a white panel to create my own background, and then I colored just the larger bubbles in each cup.
To create this fun Angled Gate-Fold Card with a Latch, I found a really great tutorial from LeeAnn Greff (@flowerbug's inkspot). It was so easy to follow!
I embossed a Melon Mambo panel using the (sadly) retired Stampin' Up Dainty Diamonds 3D Embossing Folder. I love this folder because it creates a beautifully subtle texture. I die-cut the pieces for my "latch" using the Stampin' Up Tasteful Labels dies and I heat embossed the Hello sentiment in black. I then adhered the focal image to the left side. Once the card was assembled, I finished up by adding a small black, satin bow.
