Hey friends! I can't believe that we are already a week into April! It's Saturday, and that means that we have a new Anything Goes Challenge up on the Polkadoodles Blog.
For this week's challenge, the DT was asked to create an Easter card, so I had to pull out the adorable Holly Easter Bunny image and color her up!
I created a scene for her, using stencils that I made from the Honey Bee Stamps Slimline Horizon Dies and die-cuts. I die-cut the hills, fence, grass, and clouds from heavy-weight cardstock. Using Distress Oxide inks, I ink-blended the hills and grass. I used the cloud die-cut as a stencil and ink-blended the clouds onto my card panel. (Because I used heavy-weight card stock to create the stencil, I have actually used the same die-cuts to stencil on several cards.) I love getting more bang for my buck and finding additional uses for my stash.
I finished up by adding some pre-colored embellishments and a sentiment from the Winnie Sugar Sprinkles Springtime Collection along with some clear sequins.
I had so much fun creating this sweet card! I hope you like it!
Don't forget to come on over and join us for the Anything Goes Challenge this week! There are some great prizes up for grabs, and there are NO product requirements. That means that whatever you are working on is the perfect project to enter! Can't wait to see what you have created!
Xoxo, Kim
