Good morning, lovelies! I am super excited to share today's project with you! Joy Clair Designs is sponsoring us over at Passionate Paper Creations and Friends this week.
I tend to gravitate towards bright, cheerful colors, so I decided that I would try to break away from that, and work with some soft tones. I am so happy with how elegant this card turned out!
I colored my images using my Copics (colors listed below) and cut them out. I dry embossed a white panel using my all-time favorite embossing folder, Stampin' Up's Pinewood Planks, which is sadly retired now. and layered it with this beautiful, patterned paper from the Scrappy Boy Stamps Burlesque collection. I added a strip of black grosgrain ribbon to separate the two. I have always loved walls that have a chair rail, and that was my inspiration for the front of my card. I adhered everything to a black card base and finished it off with a black bow and some black obsidian rhinestones.
