Tell Me About the Birds and the Bees! No, really, please don't!

 Hi friends!  I am so excited to finally be able to share this fun card that I made for another fun card swap hosted by the amazing Danni Bindel (@dannisdreams) in her Facebook Swap Group - Danni's Dreams Happy Snail Mail Swaps. 

This swap's theme was Birds and/or Bees, so I created a card using a stamp set in my stash.  I was really excited for this theme, as I love honeybees!  We actually have a natural hive in one of the cedar trees on our property.  I have learned to live in harmony with them, and I love to stop and watch them work.  

I colored up the bee image from the Honey Bee Stamps Bee You stamp set using Copic markers (colors listed below), cut it out and set it aside. 

I used some adorable bee-themed digital papers from Dandelionery on Etsy to pair with this cutie.  I die-cut one of them using the C.C. Designs Border Dies and layered them up.  I layered all my elements up and added some metallic thread before popping the bee up on foam squares.

Body - YR24, YR23, YR21

Eyes/Wings - B00, B000, C0, 0
