Paper Nest Dolls Wizards and Rebels Virtual Retreat - Part 1

 Happy Tuesday, friends!  Just before we went on vacation, I saw that Paper Nest Dolls would be hosting a Wizards and Rebels Virtual Retreat.  Initially, I wasn't going to purchase it, because I knew we would be gone; however, I was totally geeking out over the amazing digital images and the projects that were being taught in the retreat, and I saw that the classes would be available after, so I did.  I am soooo glad that I did!  

So far, I have only completed two of the cards due to time constraints, but I have loved every second of the instruction! 

The first class that I did was the Wizard Friends Shaker Card taught by Tina Day Goodwin. 

This card was so ridiculously fun to make.  The coloring was a challenge for me, as I am still learning and I had to substitute some colors, which is always a challenge for me.

The second card that I made was the Wizard Teacher Card Class taught by Mindy Beverly.  

This card was such a blast to create!  Again, had to make some color substitutions and work with the world's most fiddly (but AMAZING) die.  I learned some cool new techniques and got to practice up on folds in fabric.

Again, I am so glad I purchased this retreat!  You now get the idea of what the Wizards are about.... can you guess what the Rebels are?  Stay tuned!  More to come (as I get time LOL)!
